And this is why my Christmas tree is full of holes and broken branches.

The kids and hubby helped me decorate ours. It turned out alright. Just wish they would stop pulling things off the tree. Grrr

Great job decorating the tree, even with the kitty planting itself in the middle of it. Have they knocked the tree over yet?

Evelyn has a stockpile of baubles that she’s hoarding now and if I try and put them back on the tree, she gets really annoyed and pulls them all off again.

Husband let the dog in for a little while during the storm the other night, he got under the tree and chewed up one of the advent presents!! He is officially BANNED from the house until January.

Our dog has been great, but the cats are also eating the tree! It’s going to be an utter mess until Christmas day.

The dog, not the husband. Although…

That made me laugh out loud. Hehehe.

I’m surprised the whole thing didn’t fall over. I guess this is something I’ll have to watch out for when I get a kitten.

It nearly did, just after I took the photos! I caught it, and then Alfred freaked out and jumped to the couch from the very top and nearly kicked the whole thing over again. I’m not sure I see this ending well, to be honest.

You just gave me the flop sweats. As we have three six-month old kittens this Christmas, you have just described my nightmare. We’re planning on trying to figure out how to tie our tree to the wall before we decorate it.

Ours hasn’t fallen over yet, but it was a near thing! I think only because it’s so big. And good luck! We demand photos of the chaos. And by demand, I mean, ask nicely.

Squirty water bottle. That’s what cured our new feline addition of playing with the tree. 😉
