Jabs

in Life

The little revolutionary is down and out for tonight. I have managed to smuggle my laptop back out of her cot and I have successfully logged in.

Amy had her immunisations today. The nurse that did it wasn’t as good as the local GP who did the last batch. Not only did she scream, but she is going to have a nasty bruise on her leg. She did wiggle a good deal before the first jab though, that could account for the bruise.

She is upstairs, fast asleep and heavily drugged (ibroprufen YAY). Poor little pet, I always feel so bad, even though it is for her own good.

Now, about the revolution. I think I may have sucessfully nipped it in the bud here, as we had a 6hr stretch last night (at least I think we did. I can’t remember getting up after the 2.30am feed).

Not much to report on my end guys. Hope you are all having a great day.

If you liked this, share!

Having jabs done is never nice, and do make us feel bad even though as you said we know it helps them.

jabs are not good…
Darcy always screams blue murder…
the calpol helps !!

As for the revolutionary, put the laptop on a high shelf, she can’t jump up and get it then !!

Those long stretches are so wonderful, aren’t they?! I wish you many more!

6 hours! Great. The jabs are a pain in the…..arm / thigh!

Best wishes

It is really hard getting the jabs done. For my 3rd child, I made DH take him. I’d had enough of dealing with it by then. Figured he could have a go. :-(

I hate the immunizations. Thankfully, Julia won’t need anymore for a couple years. Yay!

Congrats on the six hour sleep stretch! It must have felt like heaven.

Braden will be disappointed in Amy….

I would prefer to put up with a few days of grottiness that to ever have Amy get a virus we are immunising against.

I know Lotus, but she has been making up for it by not letting me move an inch without her of a daytime.

Maybe Braden and Amy are in cahoots anyway?

Needles are awful, aren’t they?
Glad you got six hours though. Hope the revolutionary is feeling better soon.
