She Is Back On

in Life

Babies, I have an apology to make. I was weak for 2 nights last week. I slept a little better for Mummy and I was happy.

But now? The situation has been rectified. Last night, I heard Mummy come to bed. I waited 15mins until I heard her start to breathe deeply and I woke up squealing. I refused sleep for another 2 hours.

When sleep finally claimed me, I fought back with a vengance. I made Mummy get up and cuddle me every 20-30mins. I shook that sleep off and I won!!!

I DO NOT NEED SLEEP!!!!

(cue cheers and balloons)

Mummy was a wreck this morning so I decided that the best thing to do was to cling to her. I cried everytime she put me down. She tried to trim her hair and I grabbed her leg at a crucial time and made her cut her fringe MUCH shorter than normal. I didn;t count on the fact that it would then take her 30mins to fix it. A hairdresser Mummy is not.

It was shopping day, so Iresisted all attempts to sit me in a trolley. I made Mummy carry me all day, until her back ached really badly.

When we got home, it was bedtime. I was tired, but yet again, I refused the lure of sleep for another hour. Just as Mummy started to relax, I woke back up crying. It is funny to listen to Mummy climb the steps over and over again.

I have great plans for tonight. The revolution? She is back on!

My cold made me weak. I slept 5 hours in a row. Mommy was so happy she even happily cuddled me for an hour in the middle of the night b/c I was awake. Then I liked the cuddling so much that I slept another 4 hours (with a quick bottle break in there).

Amos sez:

Go, Amy, go! Do you have a boyfriend yet? I may be young, but I am quite the charmer. I like your rebellious streak.

I’m catching up to your shenanigans. Currently, I refuse food. They try to trick me by feeding me when I am sleepy. Ha! I’ll foil that plan soon enough.

I love that you call it “fringe.” I call it my “bangs.” I can’t cut mine either, even without interference from revoluationaries.

Amy,

Don’t feel bad about dropping into PC mode every once in awhile… remember, it makes the devestation of The Plan that much more for them. And it gives you the rest you need to realllllyy give ‘em hell.

You remain Victorious!

PS: Amos. Back off.

I used to trim my fringe by snipping along the top of my glasses frames, but I’ve decided to grow it out and just tie it all back in a lazy ponytail. Gave up on dyeing it too, amazing how quickly the grey is taking over……..
