80ml (2 3/4 fl oz) lime juice
125ml (4 fl oz) manadrin juice

Run the lime around the rim of each glass. Put the salt on a plate and turn the glasses upside down in the salt to coat the rims. Put the ice, tequila, cointreau, sugar syrup, lime juice, and mandarin juice in a blender and mix until smooth and pourable. Carefully pour into the glasses and serve immediately
**Sugar syrup – 1 cup sugar mixed with 125ml (4 fl oz) water. Boil together for 5 mins until slightly syrupy.

Mint Daze

1/2c sugar
3 tbsn water
80ml (2 3/4 fl oz) vodka
1/4 c fresh shredded mint leaves

ice

Put the water and sugar in a pan and stir over low heat until melted. Leave to cool.

You can strain out the mint leaves before serving, but the flavour is stronger if they are left in.

That breakfast shake sounds fantastic! Quite a mixer-upper of a post – milkshakes and cocktails. YUMMY! I’m up for ice-cold drinks even in the dead of winter!

Well, as I’m on a diet and supporting a recovered alcoholic, I get no fun from this post.

Veronica – what, are you trying to kill me?!

The Princess would go mad for that Chocolate Shake – how many is that supposed to serve? Try this breakfast shake, it’s what I make for the Princess when she won’t eat:

1 1/2 cups milk
1 banana (frozen for choice)
2 tbsps creamy peanut butter
2-4 tbsps chocolate milk powder

Serves one kid and one mom!
