So, the lovely Frogpondsrock asked me to host Sunday Selections today.
These next two are from our trip to Bonorong Park, which I’ll talk about properly soonish.
Three Tawny Frogmouths, all in a row.
Tasmanian Devil and her joeys.
Sunday Selections: The Blurb from Frogpondsrock.
The Blurb
I take a lot of photos and most of them are just sitting around in folders on my desktop not doing anything. I thought that a dedicated post once a week would be a good way to share some of these photos that otherwise wouldn’t be seen by anyone other than me.
I am also remarkably absent minded and I put photos into folders and think that I will publish them later on and then then I never do.
So I have started a photo meme that anyone can join in and play as well. The rules are so simple as to be virtually non existent.
Just add your name and URL to the Mr Linky.
Publish your photos on your blog using the “Sunday Selections” title.
Link back here to me.
Easy Peasy.
Thank you Veronica :)x
love the tawny frogmouths 🙂 Is the 2nd one rosemary?
Oh Veronica, You do an awesome version too of Sunday Selections…wow! I cannot ever think where I would get to see fauna such as you have photographed other than behind some sort of barrier like a fence or net.
The sunset shot with its perspective is my favourite. WOW!
My Sunday Selections is from another generation too…my granddaughter is becoming great with the camera. Hers are from our recent road trip…

I love that first sunset shot and the Tassie devils are cute!
I’ve never seen more than one Tawny Frogmouth at a time and even then only on TV or in a magazine. They’re so fluffy, are they babies?
Love the Tawny Frogmouths cuddling into each other, aren’t they the cutest birds!
beautiful photos. I particularly like the devils!
Love them all, but the tawny frogmouths and the devils won my heart. Thank you.
Love those tawny frogmouths. Don’t get many of them up here in Brisbane.
Love the Tassie Devils, such a relaxed and sublime attitude about her 😉
Beautiful, are the curry leaves edible?
Yes, they are and they taste remarkably like curry powder, but without the heat. I’m interested to see how they go in cooking!
I love the third picture and I love those funny birds! They look so grouchy.
I could see a lovely and beautiful photos in here and Just wanna say that I love them all but the tawny frogmouths and the devils won my heart. Aside from this, the sunset shot with its perspective is my favourite. Thanks for sharing!
