in Life

Last night, I was lucky enough to watch a once in a lifetime gig – The Dresden Dolls (Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione), Brian Ritchie, Mick Harvey and John Parish performing The Violent Femmes first album.

It was, amazing.

Things like this make me happy.

And if you’re interested, here are the photos I took of The Dresden Dolls performance.

The small box in which I keep the word AWESOME is nearly empty after this week’s MONAFOMA. How good was that show?
As usual your photos astound me … congrats.

Wasn’t it amazing?

I’m really pleased with these photos, considering I was in the crowd like everyone else. I think they turned out okay!

Yes, and then some … I was so pleased that the songs all rang a bell too. Classic night.

Don’t tell the Damn Emos or they will lose their shit.

And I agree with the others, it looks like all the shots were staged just for you. AMAZING pics xx

I know. How lucky was Tasmania?

And it was a combination of good positioning and a refusal to be pushed out of the way.

I was yakking to a couple of kids next to me. I had to explain to one of them the significance of an album having side 1 and side 2. It was a great gig and you my lovely girl have taken some FANTASTIC photos.

I’m so envious. I would have loved to have been there. I missed out on the Dresden Dolls in Adelaide cause I was away. You got some good photos there too.
