Tiff emailed me a few moments ago.
Ivy has been approved for her IVIG.
She will be admitted to hospital at 10.30am tomorrow morning for her first round of treatment.
All of Ivy’s doctors had seen the petition, so they fast tracked the decision.
Thankyou to everyone who blogged about it. Thankyou to the 1100+ people who signed the petition. Thankyou so SO much to everyone who banded together to help.
It has all been so worth it to see her get the treatment she needs to be a normal little girl.
Thankyou from the bottom of my heart for helping. Just, thankyou.

Thank you, lovely. Tiff and the troops are beside themselves with joy. You are probably the only person who actually took positive action in this situation. The rest of us complained and offered advice and support, but you got up off your pregnant backside and made something happen. So, thank you.

thank you so much for doing this. I’m glad Ivy will now get the treatment she should have already. I was all set to contact A Current Affair about it, but you started the petition, so I waited and now I don’t need to. But maybe I should anyway. They could do a story about how “people power” can work small miracles.
