I bought a new camera body, as a balm for my shattered soul.
Or more likely, I bought a new camera body because my old one was having a hard time actually focusing, or taking crisp images, or rendering the colours properly. I’d clicked it out, and it was slowing down, frustrating me. Once I got frustrated, I just stopped picking it up and hello, there goes my creativity down the drain.
There was a frost this morning and I wandered around, taking photos, reminded of the fact that it had been months since I tried to take a proper photo.
Hello, creativity.
I’m coming back.
I wrote my novel outline, mapping out each chapter. I sent it to two people, and then made Nathan read it. I’m working again, writing again, taking photos again.
Hello happiness.
Yahhhhhh!
You are making me wonder what kind of person I’d be if I wasn’t on medication. I’d forgotten, it’s been so long.
Glad you are finding your creativity back and hooray for new cameras.
More power to you, blue moon today, truly beautiful. My daughter SMS’d me excitedly because she caught the moonrise, when it was orange and bold in the sky. Her excitement got me outside because it was hidden so I got in the car and went moon chasing.I found it nestling behind the trees, around the corner. She got me buzzing.
I hope for you many more days like this one.
I had wished I was able to get my son out of his barricade- nope he wasn’t ready yet.Ah well.
I SMS’d another friend she buzzed back tickled with excitement.
More of us are humming
YAY! What body did you get? I’ve just started picking my camera up again recently too. It’s a great feeling after it gathering dust for so long. The last photos on it were from Christmas. >_<
That’s a long time for you. Are you in a better place now?
And I got a Canon 60D. LOVING it.
Ohh nice one! I’m in a much better place now! Max is settling into school, there aren’t really any more big what if’s around the corner, and he’s mostly sleeping through. Thank god! So I’ve been practicing on lightroom again (LOVE!) and such and realised just how much I can do with the photos I have already, and just… yeah, in a much better place! 🙂
That’s awesome!!! Wish you were in melbourne as I’m trying to set up a photography club!
