Amy is a tiger. GROWL!
Look Mummy! I am a tiger.
Sigh. So you are.
GROWL!
Oh dear.
[she examines her arms and legs]
I think I need some more stripes. On my arms. And legs.
Oh no you don’t!
I have stripes. On my face and tummy!
Yes. Yes you do.
Oh my! What did she use to make herself become a tiger? Please tell me it’s not permanent ink. If it is permanent ink (or marker), I think baby oil will help remove it. At least, she’s a cute tiger.
Yes, I should have mentioned, it was a permanent marker. Sigh. We got it off with a hefty slathering of vitamin E cream, left to soak in and then face cleanser.
Veronica, it’s BEAUTIFUL! I’d have left it on. It’s very artistic. She will be just like her grandmum that way. 🙂
hehehe the photo is lovely. She looks like a tiger. I think I might have to buy some face paints that I can keep here and then Amy and Nanny can be tigers together.
Cute Picture. Kids do like drawing on themselves and others I had two of the kids in my class draw on each other the other week.
The look in her beautiful blue eyes says it all! Definitely keep this photo to show boyfriends when older. For some reason this reminds me of your mum’s bird bowls. An artistic influence in the gene pool here perhaps? You are a kind and caring mum indeed Veronica to administer a facial, some would have been tempted to scrub with nail varnish remover! As the image appears to all who love to read your blog, there may well be a virtual universal ‘oh Amy’ moment. followed by – oh god its permanent marker pen. Not long now before she’s at school all day and you’ll be missing her………..
I love it, so creative!!
Ooooh yes Kim,!! facepaints!! They were a huge hit in my family.
She’s beautiful, V, when did she get to be so beautiful…..
Awwww, such a cute tiger!
Ggrrrrr!
Definitely a keeper for her 21st!
She looks so grown up in this pic. That means we’re *ahem* old-ish. Hehehe…
aww
she does look quite cute..
but grr to pemanent markers..
LOL! Very cute Tiger – I think face paints are a marvellous idea! Glad you got her clean – that must have been a job and a half! 🙂
It’s beautiful.
You will look back on this photo and laugh.
I can’t get over how much she’s changed, the babyishness is gone.
She’s so beautiful! I can never get over how similar the shape of bendy eyes and lips are.
Happy New Year to you all Von, here’s hoping next year is a better one. Lots love BG Xx
She looks gorgeous. Remind me sometime and I’ll send you the photo of Regan finger-painting…
What a cutie pie. Sorry Ronnie, can’t help giggling here.
Veronica, this is a stunning photo!
I think you should frame it! 🙂
Note to self: hide the Sharpies and nail polish…
Love it! Nanny has the right idea, the clean up will be much easier 😉
Maybe keep Amy away from the tattoo places in her early teens though . . . ?
gorgeous shot. Now for the punishment – facewasher with soap!
Good luck with that… I remember it well.
and a very beautiful tiger at that!
That’s an absolutely gorgeous photo. Hope you all had a happy Christmas!
My word, but she’s beautiful child! Hope it’s not on the walls too!
Great shot!
I use to let my son use these face paint type pencils. He would draw all over himself and it kept him busy for a little while. Then he got to take a bath!

This is off-topic, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this lady’s writing. And her description of the baby is classic 🙂
Yikes… but oh so adorable at the same time. Reminds me of when I supposedly painted my walls with poop. “look mommy, I decorated!”
LOL.
She is a beautiful tiger!!! Enjoy these moments even though they can be tiring, they don’t last very long. Isaac is sooo handsome!!
Priceless. Just priceless!
Checking in on you!!!!! Looking as lovley as ever!!!!!!
