Mmm yum! Nothing beats the freshness and taste of veg just picked and lightly cooked/steamed. So-o-o-o-o much nicer than picked, stored, transported, stored again, sold, transported home, stored in fridge, cooked (finally). Nice to know your garden is producing so much already.

Good things from the garden – even the music fruit. And excellent photography on your part. Well done you.

everything looks fantastic, but those peas are positively mouthwatering.

Martin December 2, 2009 at 5:34 am

Do you not grow any chicken nuggets?

kys December 2, 2009 at 6:31 am

That is so awesome! It’s hard for me to comprehend as it is about 40 degrees here.

Barbara December 2, 2009 at 6:42 am

Ooooh, yummy! Nothing beats fresh veg (except possibly freshly baked bread).

I fancied growing veg in our garden but the foxes keep digging our garden up, rotten buggers.

You should be more than pleased, they look so delicious. It’s hard to imagine how warm the weather is for you right now, while it’s hovering around freezing here.

Tanya December 2, 2009 at 11:56 am

good job! I just rang my mum and they are harvesting vegies too!

Joyce-Anne December 2, 2009 at 3:50 pm

Gorgeous! I want to come to your house for dinner. What do you do with the broad beans, I struggle to know how to deal with them.

Leslie December 4, 2009 at 3:01 am

Oh, Veronica, what a beautiful harvest! Yummy!

Sharon December 4, 2009 at 6:36 pm

But what did you make with all that fresh yummy-ness?

Momisodes December 5, 2009 at 10:40 am
