POP goes the … squash?

This morning it was fine and this afternoon we found this:

All I can wonder is, what kind of noise did it make?

I’m quite curious as to the sound of a popping squash, also!

janet March 14, 2012 at 12:46 am: Lots of rain there? Wow. Nice squash. I imagine the grunt of a fieldmouse swinging a sword bigger than he is!
BubbleGirl March 14, 2012 at 1:17 am: I’d imagine it would make a “POP!” followed by a wet, squelching sound, similar to a shoulder going back in its socket (but in reverse). But I attribute that sound to many things these days.
