Amy was a little bit thrilled, that on the morning of her birthday earlier this month, we received a box of goodies in the mail from Table of Plenty. Their new range of mini-rice cakes are chocolate coated and the kids thought they were great.
In the interest of reviewing these properly, I made everyone who came into my house for the next week try them. Unanimously, it was found that they were a) delicious and b) not expecting something that nice and c) rice cakes and chocolate sound super weird, but taste surprisingly good.
I was also a fan, the only problem I had was they arrived on the first Monday of school holidays and didn’t last all that long. I can imagine that they would be excellent lunch box treats though.
At $3.99 a packet, they’re a bit out of my price range, but if I see them on special at any stage in the future, I’ll buy them again. You can find them in your local Coles supermarket.
