Top 50 Australian Women Bloggers

I know this has been done before, but…

There are plenty of Australian Women Bloggers out there in the blogosphere and what better way to bring everyone together than a list?

Technorati has recently undergone a huge makover, meaning that rankings have changed as well as Authority. In order to do this list, I used Technorati and Alexa ranks to work out who sits where.

Formula: 3X Australian Alexa + Technorati Rank + Global Alexa\5 =

If you think I’ve made a terrible mistake, please, email me and give me your URL and site name. I may have missed you.

In order to be included, you need to have both a valid Technorati Authority and Rank as well as an Australian Alexa ranking.

I’m thinking about updating this every 3 months, what do you think?

Well done for doing this,at the same time as you were making a wedding cake with two small children underfoot. I had never really had a click through to a lot of the blogs when the list was the top 100.

I spent a bit of time clicking over to the blogs on your list last night. There are some interesting blogs there as well as some that are already in my reader but there are also a lot of e-zine blogs out there as well that seem to be the internet equivalent of New idea meets Dolly.

I used to have a good grasp on Technorati (when everyone gave a shit about it) and now I go back there after not going back for a year or so…. and I just cant figure out what the hell is going on. I cant edit my country, either which sucks because they’ve got me in the US. And I have an authority of 1 on a blog with almost 1000 followers? Urgh, I think I need some technorati skills-up cos something is going wrong here. Heh.

ps: Oh, I feel like I’m going to be mega unpopular for saying this, but I get very excited about top 100 blogs and visit them hoping that they are going to blow my socks off…. and then some of them dont. And then I end up wondering why some of them are in the top 100. At least with your list I know how they got there! So thanks! That’s a good way of doing it 🙂

Nice one – I was wondering if mine got close? I seem to have made it to the ‘top 100 writing blogs’ but not this one…?

    Aw shit, my ego’s showing!

Thank you so much for your hard work on doing this list! A friend told me that she read my blog’s name here so I had to come and check it out.

On a side note, that’s a gorgeous cake you made. Well done!
