Sitting in the small town doctors surgery, waiting to get my pregnancy confirmed and an ultrasound referral done, Nathan and I overheard a conversation.
Old Man: “What about this bloody weather? All this wind. I ask you, what is wind even for? All it does is make people angry…”
Woman: “YES! And it’s RUINED my roses.”
Old Man: “No good for anything. I don’t even know why we have it.”
They made noises of agreement and moved on to other topics.
Nathan and I didn’t look at each other, but we laughed the whole way home.
Wind; it’s a TERRIBLE invention and something ought to be done.
Thanks for the giggle. I needed it.
*i really like the wind*
But the COLD. srsly. Can we just do something about it, ftloG?
Hey, ‘pregnancy’ and ‘wind’ in the same post have me off on another tangent completely!!
🙂
LOL, classic convo!
How’s the morning sickness going?
Morning sickness is rotten, so at least I can hold onto that. I haven’t puked today, but only because I managed to take Pramin early enough. Fingers crossed.
The truly scary thing about that conversation is that I could SO EASILY be having it 😛
I love wind! The washing dries in half the time.
Humidity now, there’s a totally useless invention, and temperatures above 27 degrees. Exception here is ovens, you need high temps there to bake bread, roast beef etc
Bet even if you busted out laughing, these sillies would have no clue it would be about them. 🙂
Lol at the comment by “Mum on the Run”!!
Hope the morning sickness decreases soon and the rest of your pregnancy is smooth sailing!
Anne
Some things just can’t be made up, lol!! 🙂
Laughing here 🙂 that is hysterical.
Mind you it is so windy outside today that trees are bending sideways.
referendum perhaps?
I reckon it is those damn boat peoples fault.
(can you tell I was in a Dr’s waiting room today full of idiots?)
