A friend of mine has a daughter who had delayed development and was expected to be very much behind – not able to start school until age 8, for instance – but with some determined assistance, she’s confounded all the doctors’ predictions. I frequently hope that Evelyn will have the same sort of wonderful trajectory and give you more of these celebratory moments.

We had our fifth granddaughter arrive on Tuesday.. Her name is Evie Kim! Kim is her mother’s late Mum’s name and I thought you’d like the Evie Bit & Mum the Kim part!
